DigiShot Benefits


The benefits of the DigiShot system are as follows:
  • Better control of vibration.   The accuracy and precise timing capabilities result in a significant reduction in vibration levels during the blasting process which makes the programmable DigiShot electronic initiation system most suitable for application in environmental sensitive areas.

  • Easy-to-use menu-driven software minimizes end-user training time. The control equipment design, menu driven software and the ability of hooking up detonators in any sequence is user friendly and minimizes user training.

  • Minimal on-bench components simplify use. The DigiShot Electronic Detonator in the blast-hole easily clips onto the 2-wire busline on surface and requires a DigiShot Tagger to test the detonator installation, completing the control equipment requirements.

  • Convenience. Blast patterns and timing can be programmed into the DigiShot 300S Blaster in advance, or on the day of the blast, whichever is more convenient.

  • Automatic or programmable delay timing. Choose easy auto-programming saving  time and reduce errors, or the manual programming to accommodate virtually any delay scheme.

  • Security. The DigiShot 300S Blaster is password protected, requires a DigiShot specific Smart Key and uses a coded signal to fire the blast.
